| Fare at the SEJ Network lunch will be simple. (OK, not THAT simple...) |
This year, as for the last several years, fellow SEJer Robert Weinhold and I have organized the network meal events at the SEJ conference. You know these -- the big lunches and dinners where we assign topics and discussion leaders to tables and then let the conversation flow.
Friday, Sept. 7 is when this year's network meals are happening. That's the day that I'll be on site, running around like a crazy person. The beat dinner lineup is posted on the SEJ site. (Many of those dinners are already booked up, so if you're going to the conference and want to hit a beat dinner, you'd better sign up right now! Instructions on SEJ.org.)
The list of small-group network lunch discussion tables isn't yet posted on the SEJ site. (Ack! just before I published this post, they posted the lunch list to the SEJ site. So much for my scoop. Oh well, can't hurt to have it here too...) The big breakout-room lunches are listed there, however.
Here's what we'll be talking about, and who'll be leading those discussions, in 23 small groups on Friday 9/7....
